Norway and the US are planning to establish a new military radar post in Vardø, Finnmark, in addition to the already existing US Globus II radar system. Prof. Dr. Theodore Postol from Massachusetts Institute of Technology said in an interview with Norwegian broadcasting company NRK that this could lead to a conflict between the US and Russia.
